Privacy notice
How studio information is handled.

Information collected
Kiwa's Piano Studio may collect student and parent or guardian names, email addresses, lesson schedules, attendance history, lesson notes, messages, invoice details, payment status, and payment method. Public lesson inquiries include the name, email address, and message submitted through the contact form. Short-lived, hashed network identifiers may be used to limit spam and repeated sign-in attempts.
The studio does not collect or store payment card numbers or bank-account credentials through this website.
How information is used
Information is used to operate the studio, manage student accounts, schedule and document lessons, communicate with students and families, send reminders, create invoices and receipts, maintain payment records, respond to inquiries, and protect the website and its accounts.
Who can access information
Studio records are available to Kiwa and, where appropriate, to the student or family connected to that account. The website also relies on service providers for hosting and database storage, account sign-in, and email delivery. These providers process information only as needed to provide those services.
The studio does not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
Student and family accounts
Student accounts are created by invitation from Kiwa. A parent or guardian should manage the account and communications for a child when appropriate. Students and families should avoid sending sensitive financial, medical, or other unnecessary personal information through studio messages.
Cookies and device preferences
The website uses necessary sign-in cookies to keep portal sessions secure. A light or dark appearance preference may be saved on the device. The website does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party advertising trackers.
Retention and security
Studio records are kept for as long as reasonably needed to provide lessons, maintain business and payment records, resolve questions, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Reasonable technical safeguards are used, including restricted accounts and encrypted connections, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Questions, corrections, or deletion requests
Students and families may ask Kiwa to review or correct their account information. They may also request deletion of information that is no longer needed, although some business or payment records may need to be retained. Use the contact form on the studio home page or send Kiwa a message through the student portal.
